Looks to me like the basics for "AI making AI-powered robots".
Unfortunately, a large part of our student generation seems
more concerned with wokism, fighting pseudo-Nazis and climate
change, and other 'righteous' battles. While pursuing their
idealisms, I fear they will be swept away by technological
advances they should better be following and learning.
Putting aside this "ranting grandpa attitude", the course
deals with new compiler and optimisation techniques through
introspection and mathematical description of software source
code. I wonder if a tokenised Forth would be a good intermediate
language to study such techniques (although calling Forth a
differentiable language would be a long stretch).
