Ah, of course. The “Bulova Accutron” method of accurate timing
calibration, before the technique was obsoleted by cheap quartz crystal
oscillators. ;)
Yes, I own a couple of Accutrons. Always interesting. These days I use a digital tacho thing that refelects off a reflective stick on strip to time my TTYs
