Not really.  This was a shakedown attempt by Trump.
Note how quickly after the meeting ended (early) the timestamp on finely crafted press releases were published the White House.
Plus as much as one will want to claim 'America First' on the money spent, roughly 80% of was spent domestically in the USA.
FYI, an exact value is hard to pin down because its been complicated by DoD accounting slights-of-hand.  For example, M113s sent were claimed as their original book value (purchase cost) of ~$600,000 each, despite how they were being diverted from a demil (scrap) program where the DoD was selling them for $1 (yes, one dollar) each.  This inflates the claimed value of the military aid being sent.

This could indeed be WWIII. 

All sorts of things *could* be.  The biggest problem with the USA not holding up to its 1993 & 2014 treaty obligations is that it can only embolden other world stage actors such as Iran, NC & China.  We've already seen this is the Suez Canal, Taiwan, Philippines and literally last week, a new provocation between Australia & New Zealand.

Ukraine would be the beginning and it already has been - let's
get off that track.  With DJT as president, and me working with him
and Sec. Rubio, Sen. Graham and anyone who has the status, Putin will
finally lay off.

Wish it were so, but there's been zero saber-rattling to motivate Putin to change course.  The only thing which has happened so far this weekend is that Putin's Hungarian puppet Orban has spoken up on how important it is for Ukraine to knuckle under & sue for "peace".  Recall that Neville Chamberlain's "Peace in Our Time" success lasted for just 335 days: from 30 Sept 1938 until 31 August 1939.  We've seen this playbook before.
