I'm sure this is the case. The fact that I am posting this article now is
proof that I'm not banned for life and I won't try that again with E-T.
What I'm surprised about though is that this weirdness is happening with a
paid account. It's no secret that most big paid providers don't care at all
about "classic Usenet" they are providing access to filesharing under the
guise of Usenet and yet if I try to cache text articles from them, it's
rate-limited like crazy. However, if I were to try to download a 2GB movie
file, it would be completely OK.
