One thing I've not see is how to inject messages back into the
newsfeed either from a single file of articles or a number of
separate files.
That won't work without modifying history (or waiting for the history
entries to expire and temporarily setting artcutoff high enough that
the messages are not rejected as "too old").
Apart from the some text and test groups, I do not expire articles.
artcutoff is 0. Again, Nobody seems to be able to answer the question
of how do I inject the articles back into the newsfeed.
1. Make sure Cleanfeed will not reject the articles again.
2. Remove the already rejected articles from your history database,
otherwise INN will reject the articles as duplicates.
3. Rewrite your batch file so rnews will be able to process it.
(see man rnews for a description of the batch input format.
4. Move the modified batch file to INN's incoming directory and run
rnews -U.
5. Check news log for errors.
6. Repeat when neccessary
