 w is not in the image = { 0, 2, 4, 6, ..., w*2, ... w*2+w*2 }

But ω is smaller than w*2

 The same with the members of { 1, 2, 3, ... } who aren't in the image.

2 is. But also the places of all odd ordinals can be defined by all smaller and all larger even ordinals.
