It is defined by ω-1 + 1 = ω.
  The 'plus one' here is not plus the

natural number one, but only signifies the "next" ordinal.
 

You could use the Zeta function for complex numbers and achieve -1/12 as a 'sum' in that sense.

I understand that the sum 1+2+3+... > 1. More is not required.
