It's interesting to animate between two small settings. Say:
p0 = { .001, 0 }
p1 = { .001001, 0 }
dif = p1 - p0
dif is now normalized within the infinite interval.
Time to animate, say:
a0 = p0 + dif * .5 for a mid point... ;^D
