sci.physics.relativity didn't depend in any way on Google. Google can do what they like, but they'll just get rid of some GoogleGroping idiots (plus a few that we'll be sorry to miss), without any effect on users who've used a proper newsreaders all along.
Seems that it was mentioned that they were glad that he wasn't treating them.
