Oh, my! How flight times changed since 1971 (or the data is COOKED?).

IN THE ATTACHED TABLE, I TOOK THE JOB TO REGISTER (FOR 2024), THE TIME
INVESTED ON EACH EASTWARD SEGMENT, AND THE RESULT IS ALMOST 30% HIGHER
THAN IN 1971: 53.08 Hr (today) versus 41 Hr in 1971.

The distances are OK, as I extracted them from Google Maps.

But the durations are CONSIDERABLE HIGHER in 2024. I googled direct
flights for each segment, and took the LOWER DURATION.

Internet was not available in 1971 to perform a fact-check like now.

I insist about the HOAX that such experiment was.

Not to mention the statistical manipulation of more than 15,000 pieces
of data (they used an IBM 360 to compute it), which were performed while
flying (about relative position, vector decomposition of segments,
atmospheric conditions, magnetism, etc.). As much as 5,000 pieces of
data were generated at the USNO, to THEORETICALLY adequate results.

It's a shame that such rotten fish was/is bought.
