The photon as an electromagnetic wave pulse travels through aether
medium till it meets a block. Like skin. Yes aether pervades skin as
well as it does everything. When the varying electric field touches the
skin part of it gets reflected back showing the colour. The part that
does not gets absorbed as current loop that creates heat providing the
sensation of warmth.
When hitting metal the currents are larger as the conductivity is
higher. So the metal gets hotter in sunlight. When in phase and focussed
polarized light as in lasers strike there is indeed a lot of heat
generated.
How silly to think of photon as a particle like a grain of sand! It is
the atomic expression of radiant force in terms of aetheric vibrations.
