Fascinating!

Yes, but not altogether surprising.
Much crackpottery and 'complot thinking' is primarily
a revolt against authoritiy.
(see this forum for some examples)

A human talking to them reinforces that,
because defending the authority is automatically interpreted
as identifying with it,
hence being part of the things to be revolted against.
An AI has no such handicap.
