Buenker received objective criticism from Dr. Thomas E. Phipps Jr. prior
to publishing his book and has hundreds of free PDFs.
He is helpful in discussing the problems with employing Huygens's
principle to calculate a doubling of the deflection. It does require a
variable speed of light and denies the path of the light curves.
