The existence of demented egomaniacs of your kind, Richard, is by no way
a surprise (as we've seen many in History).
I'm glad you know the story.
It’s good to know the history; and the teaching of history is very useful not only to know what happened, but also,
to know or suspect what is going to happen, because we know that what has happened a very large number of times is very likely to happen again one day, while what has never happened is unlikely to happen.
For example, a man who has already been married five times, or a lady who regularly loses her wallet, or a tenant who has never weeded his garden.
From his story, you know what's going to happen.
This is why we must teach history, and I am happy to see you in this perspective.
What could be surprising, and is definitely a shame, is that a demented
fool of your kind is allowed to practice medicine.
I did not think about it.
But again, you are right, very right.
In fact, I fell through the cracks.
In French : "Je suis passé entre les mailles du filet".
