Why do you bother responding? In my case, I respond when I feel that
I have a useful insight or bit of knowledge to share that the sane
people on these groups might appreciate. For instance, I recently made
several posts on the topic of correlated rate-change analysis, and I
estimate that possibly 1-6 sane readers might not already have been
familiar with the technique. But your posts merely reflect your
disgust at the narcissistic, egomaniacal delusions held by the
patients of this mental ward, and provide nothing new for those of
us looking for new ideas or useful insights.

It is not too different from what 19th century captains did,
logging their chronometers, and making a best guess at Greenwich time
by comparing three of them.
Common sense without sophisticated mathematics also gets you a long way,
