Choir Boy doesn't notice the number one feature of life forms with centralized nervous system is the ability to take snapshots of surroundings and compare them with each other to predict later consequences.
So among all things being in the world, he takes the very life form to ascribe the inability to observe time to it.. Choir Boys do that.
