Finally I got to listen to part of Trump's speech today about imposing tariffs.
And I thought about it a little bit.
Especially the part that he is trying to base his decisions and validity of his measures on what USA used to do 150 years ago, is very suspect to me. I wonder if any of you noticed that.
He touched upon that in his speech in Congress also, so evidently he is not just casually throwing some little thoughts in by speaking of that.
Do you see how foul the reasoning is?.. Is anybody there to at least correct him about these blunders... I wonder. Is one or more of his close aides pulling the rug from under him?
He has taken today's world outside the USA, and today's establishments working between the two - the world and the USA -, establishments of all kinds, to be the same as what existed 150 years back! And he attempts to reason with that false premise to justify his decisions.
Oh even he will learn sooner than that .. :) I can't believe this shit.
It is like saying, "Since Archimedes shouted 'Eureka!' when a discovery was made, then I'm going to shout "Eureka!' to discover more stuff".
As stupid as that.
He's using something that worked 150 years ago now in 2025 to gain the same results that USA got 150 years back from the world! Gee that's genius. I bet many of you say exactly that too.
I'm done with this crap. It is getting a bit aggravating.
